How will-When will the Royal Oak area be connected to Detroit?? Currently it is not safe for a bike rider to use Woodward. Having ones bike kicked, being physically challenged and then told by the Police to get onto the side walk keeps us “Northern Folk” away. It’s sad, the Dequindre Cut looks like a great ride, stop for lunch somewhere local, sun shine and no cares about cars.

I don’t understand your comment. South of 8 Mile, there are many safe and convenient bike routes to the Dequindre Cut. One can bike from Royal Oak to Woodward and 8 Mile without using Woodward.
